On Thursday 5 December, the Chancellor of the Exchequer will be making his Autumn Statement to Parliament. It is a significant political event with information published by multiple departments including HM Treasury and HM Revenue & Customs.
In the past, tax professionals would need to separately visit the HMT website, the HMRC website and perhaps other sites to find all the information supporting the Autumn Statement. This Autumn Statement will be different.
For the first time, all HMRC content for the Autumn Statement will be published on GOV.UK on a 'topical event page' alongside the HMT content. You can view the topical event page for the Autumn Statement at: www.gov.uk/autumnstatement2013
You can also subscribe to email alerts whenever new content is published on the Autumn Statement, just look for the email icon below the 'Latest' feed on the page.
For publishers in departments publishing to GOV.UK, or anyone else who is interested, Graham Francis has written a blog post on the Inside GOV.UK blog with further details of how the Autumn Statement 2013 will be published.
